Welcome to the Web page for the Woodbridge North Lake Saturday Tennis Group.

We are a group of tennis players that plays every Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the North Lake Tennis Club in the Woodbridge community of Irvine, CA.  We are serious players, with NTRP ratings of 4.0 to 5.0.  We usually play for about two hours, from 10:00 until 12:00 noon.  We are mostly men, but many strong women players have joined the group over the years.

Our usual format is eight players divided into four doubles teams on two courts.  Each team plays one set against each of the three other teams.  Scoring is no-ad.  Players are matched each week using a computer algorithm that tries to create equal teams using recent results.  See the Statistics page for results dating back to 1998.

The Woodbridge North Lake Saturday Tennis Group has been in operation non-stop since 1980.  Over the years we have had almost 200 players.
